Auto Insurance Coverage All Driver's Need

Medical Payments Coverage ("Med-pay"), is a type of automobile insurance coverage that applies regardless of who was at fault in an accident. If you are a covered driver and you suffer an injury, med-pay will pay your medical expenses. It also may apply if you or a passenger is injured in a covered vehicle. In most cases, you will not be required to repay your med-pay coverage.

Most people's med-pay coverage is $1,000, but we encourage you to get at least $5,000. If you are involved in a serious accident, your medical expenses can quickly surpass $1,000. An emergency room visit alone can cost nearly $2,000, and that does not include X-rays, an MRI, or any follow up treatment that you may need.

If you have questions regarding med-pay coverage, feel free to contact our office for a free consultation. Should you be involved in an auto accident, we would be happy to help you navigate your personal injury claim, including utilizing your med-pay coverage to cover the costs incurred by your medical providers.
